Who was Cyril Fry?

Cyril Fry was a Dublin born Model Railway enthusiast who worked as an engineer at the Inchicore Railway Works.

Fry constructed his model railways over 50 years, beginning in the 1920’s up until his death in 1972. He displayed his collection in a meticulously laid out set in the attic of his home in Churchtown.

The impressive collection was taken on and displayed by Malahide Castle, but has now found a permanent home in the Casino building in Malahide Village.

Come and explore Fry’s superbly handcrafted models, and exhibition that will surely be enjoyed by generations to come.
